The annual Infrastructure Investor Awards celebrate excellence in the infrastructure space, both globally and regionally across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East and Africa.
This year we expanded opportunities to highlight the industry’s accomplishments with the launch of a new Sustainability Investor of the Year category.
In addition to soliciting nominations for a total of 52 categories, the editorial team canvassed views from the market to see which deals and firms had led the pack in 2019.
After a thorough review, we drew up four-strong shortlists for each category. Readers were then invited to vote on the entries they felt were most deserving of recognition. This included an option to suggest an alternative winner outside the selected shortlist.
We received thousands of votes from around the world, thus attesting to one of the defining characteristics of these hotly contested awards – that they are decided by the industry for the industry.
In a year in which there were tight races in a number of categories, we would like to congratulate all of the winners and runners-up, and thank those who submitted entries. Our thanks also go, of course, to our readers for voting.
